Hello again. I hope everyone had a great fun-filled summer. I wanted to talk this month a little about the Chamber and what it offers its members.
Like many things, you get out what you put in. The Chamber offers many opportunities among which is networking. The networking aspect can be utilized through chamber lunches, chamber mixers, as well as other events & functions the chamber offers.
Another main feature the Chamber offers is advertising & promotion. Now that we run the electronic newsletter, there is opportunity to purchase spots. Also, there are many events that the chamber is a part of where a business can place a banner up such as Apple Harvest, Chili Cookoff, etc. Not to mention the ability to take advantage of the $1 spot on the microphone @ Chamber mixers. Also, the Chamber lunches are available for announcing special promotions, etc that your business may be offering.
Other ways in which the Chamber offers benefits are through various workshops and classes that are occasionally offered to members. Lastly, the chamber offers backing & support to its members in the community and will represent them in matters as necessary.
The main goal of the Chamber is to enhance the economical growth of our community. As these are just a handful of benefits that the Chamber offers, keep them in mind as you are going about through the community. You may just hear the question “what would Chamber do for me?” and have an opportunity to respond. Have a great September as we gear up for Apple Harvest & the newly added Harvest Market on Sunday.
