Mission & Vision
The Fortuna Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization of individuals and businesses that join together to enhance economic growth through the promotion and support of our community, civic interests, and member businesses.
Our Members play a vital role in the Chamber's future by participating in programs, events, and fundraisers that support and promote the Chamber's mission. Our Mission is to provide businesses with essential resources, training, and networking opportunities to retain customers and strengthen their position within our communities.
We offer partnerships with other local organizations, networking, and leadership development. We also host a number of special events that provide our members the opportunity to communicate with other Chamber members.
Business Networking
The Fortuna Chamber of Commerce has over three hundred member businesses and individuals. We offer monthly and annual events facilitating plenty of opportunities to mingle and network with other businesses and members of the community.
Advocacy
We advocate on behalf of businesses in Fortuna! We regularly attend City Council meetings and partner with the City of Fortuna and others to promote small business development and help shape business-friendly policies that benefit our membership.
Special Events
The Fortuna Chamber of Commerce puts on several special events year round including the State of the City Breakfast, the Annual Awards Dinner, the Chili Cook-off, Holiday Dazzle, and helps plan and promote the Apple Harvest Festival, Hops in Humboldt, The Redwood AutoXpo, Fortuna Rodeo, Art & Wine in the Park, Al Gray Electric Lighted Parade, and more!
Tourism & Marketing
The Fortuna Chamber is regularly promoting the businesses of our members. We provide public awareness of special promotions, events, and discounts and work with the City and organizations to facilitate events that drive customers to storefronts. Through our Tourism & Marketing Committee, we leverage our partnerships with the City, Humboldt Lodging Association, local media, and other strategic partners to promote tourism to the Friendly City.
Social Media
The Chamber provides promotional service for members across a variety of social media platforms. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter are utilized by our members to promote special events & products, and make connections throughout the community.
Continuous Support
We are a resource for members and visitors who have questions about who, what, when, and where in Fortuna. We help connect our members with the information they need to get business done!
